 NOAA maintains public weather information radio. This service provides 24 hour weather information and local severe
 weather alerts.
 The service can be monitored by weather radios or scanner programed with local NOAA vhf frequencies,

 NOAA now uses SAME radio alert system. SAME allows SAME accepted radio receivers to be programmed to sound 
 alert only if user selected county code has been entered. When purchasing a weather radio, look to confirm the radio is 
 S.A.M.E. compatible.

 Broadcasts are found in the VHF public service band at these seven frequencies (MHz):(Nation Wide)
